UCanDance offers a range of different dance style for you to get down and groove with. Read on for more information about our current classes and a description of the styles currently on offer.
Tuesday Classes Term 3, 2026
Location: Varies – 21/7: Undercroft 101, 28/7: Rehua 102, 4/8: Rehua 102, 11/8: John Britten 102, 18/8: Undercroft 101
7pm: Salsa Cubana
This circular style of salsa is designed to get your body moving and your mind working. It combines elements of Afro-Cuban music and dance with other Latin American styles for the ultimate dance experience.
8pm: Ballroom Quickstep
Come and find out why this fun and upbeat style has been around since the 1850s. You’ll be ready to chasse across the floor like a pro’ on Dancing with the Stars in no time!
Wednesday Classes Term 3, 2026
Location: Varies – 22/7: Undercroft 101, 29/7: E. Rutherford 140, 5/8: Undercroft 101, 12/8: Undercroft 101, 19/8: Undercroft 101
7pm: Line Dance
A fun synchronised group dance – no partner needed! In Line Dance we learn to get our groove on alongside a song or three with some cool foot work.
It’s not all country music. Our favourites to dance to include S&M (Rhianna) and Shivers (Ed Sheeran).
8pm: Kpop
No partners or experience needed, just bring along yourself plus enthusiasm and prepare to learn popular and from Kpop routines as performed by your favourite idols!

Pay for 9 classes and your 10th class is free! Pick up a member reward card and get it clicked at each class.
Terms and Conditions: only available to current club members. Expires 2 years after issue date (or at the discretion of the executive committee). Cannot be used in conjunction with any other deals or offers.
5 Class Pass
Pay for 5 classes and save $$! Makes getting in the door at classes fast and easy, no more fussing about with cash or bank transfers every time. Just get your card clicked and you’re off dancing
